I don’t know Aloysius but being in Singaporean 🇸🇬 & loving my country, I read all his news. As all his eulogies started pouring in, I was compelled to tears hearing about his angelic ways which totally match his angelic handsome face. Most people will lament what a waste to die like that & so young. We are all but fleeting light that will go out in our time. He left everyone in a daze, cos no one ever would see this coming. I believe he himself wouldn’t see his accident coming that his time on earth came to an abrupt halt. Many would say what a waste for working so hard & thinking so much & being so intelligent, what’s the point since U just gonna die & leave the world.
But if U look at life as temporal process, and that he has treated everyone, even an extra, production crew, elderly, even a stray hungry cat... he took time despite busy at his passion & craft with acting & creative works, to give love & be there as listening ear, long chats with people who he brings light to, whether the person needs it or not, he was just there sincerely as a friend. With no agenda to be good or kind to u. I felt so touched.
A rebellious kid who made his mum cry during puberty & charged for drink driving would grew up to be this super sensible & ultra sweet boy who would use his leftover money to buy aloe Vera gel for 7-8 elders who went on a trip for shooting, buy 8-10 mini hand fans for his co-actors during outdoor shoots, secretly escort his co actress to the toilet in foreign country, use 10% of his monthly salary to buy drinks & snacks for his production crew, treat the production crew b4 moving out of Caldecott hill.
Where on earth do U find such a sweet charitable boy like him?
Why nobody sing praises of him before?
He deserves to know this.
Yet he’s so humble & work harder than anyone & does his homework before filming!
If a scene is not perfect, he asked to retake.
Stayed back after his scenes are done to help pack up & clear the scene.
He really went the extra mile to be kind to others.
To say it’s a waste to lose an angel,
Rather i see it as everyone on earth has a role & duty.
His duty is to show others you can turn over a new leaf & shine brightly into others lives even if ur dark past wasn’t something u are proud of.
His duty is to bring warmth & love to ur life when U never know if anyone cares.
To lift U higher from the valleys if U have fallen.
His endearing eyes are huge with sincerity.
His smile is innocent & childlike
His coolness doesn’t let others to worry for him.
It’s not because he doesn’t need love, it’s because it’s easier to give love.
He loves his job, he gives his all.
Some people are put on earth with godlike ways to show us how to live like a better person, more like god.
Some people like Aloy, who asks for nothing & expects nothing but want to joyfully give his all to this world while he was here.
Instead of grieving, rejoice that U once met an angel or read about his moving story that he moves U to live a more godlike life.
So much to learn from me, and I regret not knowing U more before this.
But it’s never too late.
We always still able to learn from the legends such as Bruce Lee & perhaps ur works will pass on for generations & generations.
